Here we are at the final part of our series! Over the past few weeks, you’ve met Stuart, Lena, and Dasha—three characters whose lives intertwine in The Showrunner. Now it’s time to discover how their stories converge. As we get to the final few chapters, we see that Stuart is dealing not only with the moral dilemma presented by much different offers to buy his new show, but also with separate crises in the lives of Lena and Dasha. As Lena’s Fiance Visa is about to expire, she remains conflicted as much by Stuart’s workaholic nature as by questions of culture and assimilation, all the while baffled and distraught by her daughter’s turn to the “dark side.” The entire dynamic is brought to a critical juncture when Dasha succumbs to Zap’s entreaties and tries a new and powerful designer drug.
